Lunch-Chef's SpecialChikan Eatery was the first fast food restaurant in Taiwan. Because the first generation chef Hsiung Liu-Yi had experience of cooking western cuisine, he made the first fast meal in Taiwan in 1950. It contains fresh salad, fried shrimp, fried pork chop, rice and soup. The meal has had a name “Lunch” since 1950, and it is dined with a knife and a fork.
